A small fee? Is this standard? I don’t know if we charge.
Something we are revisiting after a number of years is external links and whether they should open in a new window or not. Seems to be a topic that is rearing its head again: http://uxmovement.com/navigation/why-external-links-should-open-in-new-tabs/
These permissions will be (mainly) logged on our central enquiries database. There is an internal piece of work to be generally around CRM and stakeholder management as not all CRM activities are done centrally using the same database and the margin for error in terms of sending people information that have requested not to be contacted is a risk.
Need to decide whether we use Statement or Policy. We are erring on the side of Statement at the moment as policy implies something that is internally generated and would need impact assessing. This feels to be more a response to government legislation and so is a statement as to the University of Bradford’s position against that new legislation.
